Off the Tee
Tree-lined holes encourage players to choose smart targets and keep the ball in position for the approach.
Designed by George W. Cobb and built in 1970, the Galleon Course is one of Shipyard Golf Club's original nine-hole layouts. The course moves through large oaks and tall pines, giving players a classic Hilton Head setting with a thoughtful test from tee to green.
Galleon rewards controlled tee shots and smart approach play. Heavily guarded greens make placement important, while the mature Lowcountry landscape gives the course a calm, traditional feel that fits naturally within Shipyard's 27-hole experience.
