Off the Tee
Clipper asks for accurate tee shots and enough length to handle one of Shipyard's more demanding nine-hole layouts.
Designed by George W. Cobb and built in 1970, the Clipper Course is known as one of Shipyard's most demanding nines. It brings together long-game pressure, well-placed hazards, and greens that ask for a confident but careful touch.
Clipper rewards players who can find the fairway, choose smart targets, and control approach shots into large, well-bunkered greens. With sand, water, and mature Lowcountry scenery throughout the round, it gives golfers a memorable test inside Shipyard's 27-hole setting.
