Unique. Innovative. Eminently playable. The Robert Cupp course is a stunningly original design that tests the better player, but accommodates higher handicappers as well. Cupp, Golf World’s former Architect of the Year, opened his signature course at Palmetto Hall in 1993, and the course continues to draw high praise for its flexibility, sound shot values and impeccable year-round conditioning.

Ideal opening hole. Not long with generous landing area.
Marsh bordering both sides of the landing area. Water may be reachable from the tee.
Carry the wetland from the tee or play safe toward the bunkers on the left.
Well protected green with little room for error. Water and sand guard the green left.
Plenty of water left off the tee. The bailout area is to the right.
Good par 5 with spacious landing area. Pyramid mounding bordering the right side.
Strong par 4 that demands accuracy. Water and wetlands guard the left side with out of bounds on the right.
Short par 3 with small green that has a severe undulation. Misplaced tee shot will leave you a difficult pitch or putt.
This hole features the deepest green on the course. Water is reachable from the forward tees.
A par 5 that is reachable in two for only the big hitters. The drive must avoid the fairway bunkers. Smart play is to lay up short of the pond guarding the green.
Dynamite short par 4. Tee shot must carry the wetland and fairway undulations. Large bunker guarding a horseshoe-shaped green.
The longest par 3. Stay away of the left side of this hole. Use and extra club off the tee. This green is Cupp's perfect circle !
Scenic hole where you must avoid the water to the left. Mounding to the right will help keep you in play.
A par 4 that is known for the geometrically shaped fairway and greenside bunkers. A good tee shot will leave a short iron left.
With a good tee shot, you might reach this green in two. However, the smart play might be to lay it up short avoiding the bunkers guarding the green.
A demanding par 3 guarded by water short and to the right. Also framed by bunkers to the left. Bailing into the bunkers on the left will leave you a challenging sand shot!
Stay clear of the water on the right and position your tee shot left. You will have a difficult pitch shot if you come up short of the green.
Great finishing hole that requires a well-placed tee shot. Water is hidden behind the mounds on the right. Use enough club to reach the pin set on the right.
