San Diego, CA— Heritage Golf Group, a San Diego-based owner and operator of premier golf facilities, has named Dan Moscar as the General Manager at Shipyard Golf Club in Hilton Head, SC.

“Dan has worked at various golf courses on Hilton Head Island for over 13 years, bringing with him experience and a passion for golf,” said John Hungerford, Executive Vice President of Operations for Heritage Golf Group. “Both his colleagues and guests have come to know him and respect him for his knowledge of the game. Prior to being appointed General Manager, Mr. Moscar was the Director of Golf at Shipyard Golf Club. His background also includes two other Heritage Golf Group properties on Hilton Head Island as the Director of Golf at Port Royal for three years, as well as the Tournament Director at Port Royal for two years prior to that.

Shipyard Golf Club's 27-holes offer some of the most spectacular golf views imaginable. The course designers, George W. Cobb and Willard C. Byrd, inter-connected two of the three courses for a unique and challenging 18-hole round.
